“Replacing a roof is a major expense, so as a part of due diligence, I made sure to get at least three quotes. While the quotes looked different initially, I found them all to really be in the same ballpark once I spent time to compare apples-to-apples (e.g., one quote came in lower but then had added costs for what was really needed). Don’t be fooled. This is a place where you get what you pay for! So, if the prices are in the same range, how could I differentiate them? It came down to trust, attention, and service. I’ve never had a service where I felt like my contractor cared anywhere close to as much as I did about the final product. Curtis didn’t just move on as soon as I signed on the dotted line. He was there throughout the process, and he pointed out things that I wasn’t aware of or knew to look for. We replaced the board and gutters, and I can tell we got a top-quality job.
